As announced by the NCAA on Wednesday (Oct. 29) afternoon, the No. 13-ranked Ashland University women's soccer team is among 10 teams in the Midwest Region under consideration for a spot in the 2025 NCAA Division II postseason.

The Eagles are listed in the first set of regional rankings, released in alphabetical order. Ashland is 11-2-2 overall and 9-0-2 and in first place in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, and will travel to Findlay (9-3-3, 8-2-1) for another conference contest at 1 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 30).

Regional rankings also will be released on Nov. 5 and 12, and will be released in rank order. The NCAA Division II women's soccer tournament selection show will be Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m. on NCAA.com.

Ashland women's soccer has qualified for the D-II postseason 14 previous times (1997-2004, 2018-19, 2021-24).

A 56-team tournament (anywhere from 6-8 teams in each of eight regions), the D-II postseason will begin on Nov. 21. The 2025 NCAA Division II women's soccer national championship game will be in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Dec. 13.

In the Midwest Region, three automatic bids come from the tournament champions in the Great Midwest, Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The other five bids are at-large. Thirty-five teams are eligible for postseason – 12 from the Great Midwest, eight from the GLIAC and 15 from the GLVC.
