For the second time in less than a month, Ashland University's men's soccer team earned a Great Midwest Athletic Conference win over Northwood.
 
On Sept. 18 at Ferguson Field, it was a 4-1 score. On Wednesday (Oct. 15), it was a 3-0 road decision to move the Eagles to 4-7-1 overall and 3-6 in the league.
 
The Timberwolves are 0-8-4, 0-7-2.
 
Ashland struck early, when senior forward Rodri Jimenez scored in the 12^th minute on a feed from freshman forward Tom Woodward. For Jimenez, it is his second goal of the season, and for Woodward, his second assist.
 
In the 41^st minute, junior midfielder Sergio Ruiz potted his second goal of the 2025 on the first collegiate assist from freshman midfielder Hayden Clark.
 
Added insurance came on a Woodward goal, his fifth of the campaign, in the 81^st minute on assists from senior forward Alex James and junior midfielder Leo Aquino (both first of 2025).
 
Junior goalkeeper Zach Harrison (1-1) earned his first collegiate shutout following a four-save effort.
