After 70 minutes of scoreless soccer on Sunday (Sept. 15) afternoon in Big Rapids, Mich., the No. 16-ranked Ashland University women's soccer team earned two goals in less than a minute en route to a 2-0 victory at Ferris State.

The win gives the Eagles a 2-1 early-season record, while the Bulldogs are 1-1-2. Ashland is 3-0-1 vs. FSU in the last four meetings in the series.

- For the second consecutive game, senior goalkeeper Maddie Dolenga started a shutout, and fifth-year keeper Mackenzie Simon finished it. Dolenga didn't face a shot on goal in the first half, and Simon made one save in the second half.
- The Eagles now have 21 clean sheets since the start of the 2023 season (27 games).
- Ashland took all 11 corner kicks in Sunday's game, and had an 11-4 shots advantage.
