Continuing the early-season non-conference schedule, Ashland University's men's soccer team lost a 4-0 decision to Gannon on Wednesday (Sept. 11) night at Ferguson Field.
The Eagles are 1-2, and the Golden Knights are 2-1.
Gannon broke the scoreless tie in the 25
th minute when Per Kristian Lauvstad tallied. Gannon made it a 2-0 contest in the first minute of the second half when Shota Toyama scored 1-on-1 with Eagle senior goalkeeper
Ty Bowden.
Lauvstad assisted on Toyama's goal.
Also in the second half, the Golden Knights scored two goals in roughly a minute when Herman Aanberg found the back of the net on a feed from Sverre Orten in the 79
th minute, and Kasper Alfei Saebo scored the last goal of the night from Orten in the 80
th minute.
