In a game for sole possession of first place in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference standings on Tuesday (April 9), Ashland University's women's lacrosse team lost 18-12 at Walsh.
The Cavaliers are 8-4 overall and 5-0 in the Great Midwest – and have a one-game lead in the loss column over the Eagles (9-6, 4-1), and Findlay and Tiffin (each 3-1 in the league).

Ashley Fisher, but Walsh later took the lead for good at 4-3.
Tuesday's game featured a lengthy weather delay with 11:40 to go in the game.
