Eagle Tennis Teams Fall To Chargers In Wooster

Both of Ashland University's tennis teams lost 4-1 decisions to Hillsdale in home matches at Wooster's Aspen Racquet Club on Saturday (March 30) night.
 
The Eagle men are 10-2 overall and 1-2 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, while the AU women are 11-5, 1-2.
 
In the women's match, Ashland's victory was earned by junior Claudia Adcock at No. 1 singles (1-6, 7-5, 6-3). Adcock and freshman Luciana Ottoni won at No. 3 doubles, 6-3, as well.
 
The Eagles' point in the men's match came from winning two of the three doubles match-ups – junior Fabian Bussard and sophomore Rodrigo Moura Ludgero at No. 2 (7-5), and junior Omar Prince and sophomore Reid Opel at No. 3 (6-4).

Both of AU's tennis teams will play at Findlay on Friday (April 5) at noon.
