On Sunday (March 3), Ashland University's baseball team won its second straight game on its annual Florida Spring Break trip, 11-9, over Minnesota Crookston.

The victory moves the Eagles' record to 5-1 – the second consecutive season AU has won five of its first six games. The Golden Eagles are 4-6.

- Junior designated hitter Ben Peltz went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored, and junior Sam Witt and graduate shortstop Devin Hukill each had two hits and two RBIs.
