Women’s Lacrosse Loses At Home To Wildcats In Regional Matchup

On Sunday (March 24) afternoon at Ferguson Field, Ashland University's women's lacrosse team lost a 17-6 decision to visiting Northern Michigan.
 
The Eagles are 6-5 after seeing their three-game winning streak snapped, and the Wildcats are 9-2 following their fourth consecutive victory.
 
Northern Michigan scored 12 consecutive goals in the second through fourth quarters en route to the victory.
 
POST-GAME NUGGETS
  • Sophomore forward Rachel Crumbacher led the AU offense with four points on two goals and two assists.
  • Northern Michigan out-shot Ashland, 36-29.
