Ashland University's women's lacrosse team won for the fourth time in the last five games on Thursday (March 28) afternoon, 19-5, at Lake Erie.
The Eagles improve to 7-5 overall and 2-0 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, while the Storm are 5-7, 1-2.
Ashland is 5-0 all-time vs. Lake Erie.
Fifth-year attacker
Cassady Becker had three assists on Thursday, making her the Eagle women's lacrosse all-time leader with 44. Becker already was the program's all-time leader in points and goals – setting both earlier this season.
POST-GAME NUGGETS
- Becker finished with a game-high seven points on four goals and three assists, while both sophomore midfielder Ashley Fisher and sophomore attacker Rachel Crumbacher each had four goals and an assist for five points.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Maria Mancuso (5-5) made three saves for the win in her 45 minutes of play.
- The Eagles out-shot the Storm, 23-10.
