On Saturday (March 2) afternoon at Thomas More, the Ashland University women's lacrosse team lost a 20-8 decision to Alabama-Huntsville.
The Eagles are 2-3, and the Chargers are 4-2.
Following a 3-3 first quarter, Huntsville outscored Ashland 9-1 in the second quarter en route to the victory.
POST-GAME NUGGETS
- Scoring three points each for the Eagles were sophomore midfielder Ashley Fisher and fifth-year attacker Cassady Becker – each of whom had two goals and one assist.
- Huntsville out-shot Ashland, 34-15, on Saturday.
