On Wednesday (Feb. 28) at Ferguson Field, Ashland University's women's lacrosse team lost a 10-7 decision to Lock Haven.
The Eagles are 2-2, and it was the Bald Eagles' 2024 season opener.
Trailing 8-2 through three quarters, Ashland mounted a fourth-quarter comeback, but could get no closer than three goals on three separate occasions.
POST-GAME NUGGETS
- Both sophomore midfielder Ashley Fisher and sophomore attacker Rachel Crumbacher each scored twice for Ashland on Wednesday.
- In just her second collegiate start, sophomore goalkeeper Maria Mancuso made 10 saves.
- Lock Haven out-shot the Eagles, 27-18.
