In the final home game of the 2024 regular season, Ashland University's men's soccer team defeated Kentucky Wesleyan, 2-0, on Thursday (Oct. 31) night at Ferguson Field.
The Eagles move to 9-6-1 overall and 8-4-1 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, while the Panthers are 9-4-3, 7-3-3. Ashland, now 8-1-1 in the last 10 games, climbed into third place in the conference table, while KWC is in fourth place.

Rodri Fernandez scored following a Panther yellow card to put the Eagles on the board first. It was Fernandez's third goal of the season, and second in the last three days.

- Senior goalkeeper Ty Bowden stopped four shots for his sixth shutout of the season. His season goals-against average dropped to 1.23.
- Ashland had a decided 23-6 shots advantage on Thursday night, and had a 7-5 lead in corner kicks.
- The Eagles are 5-0-1 all-time against the Panthers.
