In a non-conference home match on Sunday (April 2), Ashland University's men's tennis team lost a 4-3 decision to Davis & Elkins.
The Eagles (8-7) saw their three-match winning streak snapped. The Senators are 4-5.
NOTABLES
- Ashland's singles wins came at the top, as sophomores William Rassat (6-2, 5-4) and Fabian Bussard (6-4, 4-6 [11-9]) won at No. 1 and 2, respectively.
- The Eagles also took two of three doubles matches for that point – Rassat and freshman Tomas Paskauskas at No. 1 (6-3), and Bussard and freshman Rodrigo Moura Ludgero at No. 2 (7-6 (4)).
