Eagle Men Take 4-3 Decision From Millersville On Southern Trip

On Tuesday (March 7) afternoon in Hilton Head, S.C., Ashland University's men's tennis team improved to 4-5 in 2022-23 after a 4-3 win over Millersville (1-4).

NOTABLES

• The six singles matches were split, with the Eagles winning at No. 1 (sophomore William Rassat – 6-3, 6-3), No. 2 (sophomore Fabian Bussard – 6-2, 6-3) and No. 3 (freshman Rodrigo Moura Ludgero – 6-4, 7-6 (8-6)).
• Ashland took the important doubles point by winning two of three matches. At No. 2, Bussard and Ludgero won 6-4, and at No. 3, freshmen Gabriel Seminario and Benedikt Weinboerner took a 6-3 decision.
