Seth Schroeder's RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning ended a wild game at Tomassi Stadium and Donges Field at the Archer Ballpark Complex on Tuesday (March 28), as Ashland University's baseball team topped Gannon, 12-11.

The Eagles are 15-7 following their third straight win and sixth in their last seven games. The Golden Knights are 7-11.

Schroeder's RBI single with no outs in the ninth ended a game which featured 23 runs, 19 hits, 21 walks, and 13 pitchers.

Gannon led 8-3 through 3½ innings before the Eagles scored three runs each in the bottom of the fourth and sixth innings to lead 9-8. The Golden Knights scored once in the top of the seventh for a 9-all tie, then Ashland scored twice in the seventh and Gannon twice in the eighth, setting up Schroeder's heroics.

- Schroeder finished Tuesday 3-for-6 with an RBI, leading AU's 12-hit attack and giving him a team-high 14 multi-hit games this spring. Sophomore shortstop Jeremiah Cangelosi was 2-for-3 with two runs and three RBIs, extending his hitting streak to 11 games.
- Sophomore third baseman Cam Scott was 2-for-3, scored twice and drove in two runs.
- Junior right-hander Zac Common (3-1) pitched the last two innings, allowing a hit, two runs and two walks and striking four.
