QUOTABLES
  • "It was really cool," said Ashland head coach Katie Kuhn, "and I think the girls really bought into it, too. It's a neat part of history to be a part of, to know that you are part of a program that's had so much historical success throughout the years. I think that is a really neat thing. Our girls are really excited."
  • Of Urban and Moody, Kuhn said, "They're two of our best servers. Georgi's serve is so good because she's a lefty. They were very aggressive from the service line. They've stepped up, and tonight were some of the best performances by both of them."
  • Said Urban, "It's just really special, especially for the seniors, to get this (win No. 1,000). They've worked hard over the years, and it's special to see them get that."
  • Of being part of the AU setting duo this season, Urban stated, "We're so supportive of each other, give each other feedback on and off the court. She's been like my biggest supporter, and has been since I've gotten here."
  • Moody said, "It's a great feeling to be a part of this program, and what we've been doing this past season, and be a part of the legacy that has been built at Ashland. Honestly, it's (the setting set-up) been great. She can see things maybe I don't, and I see things that maybe she doesn't see."
