QUOTABLES
- "I think in the last three sets we played with a little more urgency," said Ashland head coach Katie Kuhn. "You could definitely tell that. I felt like we were fit, we were ready for it. We got a little momentum, and that helped us a little bit, too."
- "Tristen's been putting in the work in practice," Kuhn noted. "She's been doing extra reps. She got the call tonight, and she took care of it. Really proud of how she came off the bench."
- Said Thompson, "I know we play hard and we care so much about winning, but we don't play as good as we can until our backs are against the wall. It was a really fun game."
