QUOTABLES
- "The kids did a nice job of finishing the game," said Ashland head coach Doug Geiser. "I thought the key sequences in the game were the end of the first half – the offense went down and got a touchdown right at the end, then we got a score on the very first drive coming out of halftime. That was my challenge to them. That 14-point swing was big in the grand scheme of things."
- "I thought, once again, it turned into a bad-weather day, and the offense did a nice job," Geiser said. "(Offensive coordinator) Tom Stacy and his staff did a nice job of changing things up a little bit to what's going to work on a day like this."
