There's a little more than a month left in the 2022 Great Midwest Athletic Conference men's soccer regular season, so there is – and isn't – time to make moves up the league table.
For Ashland University's men's soccer team on Wednesday (Sept. 21) night at Cedarville, a big three points were on the line. The Eagles earned all three thanks to a 1-0 decision, moving them to 3-3-1 overall and 2-2 in the conference.
The Yellow Jackets are 4-3-1, 2-3.
Ashland moves back above the .500 mark all-time against Cedarville (3-2-1), shaking off a stretch of going 0-2-1 in the previous three meetings.
WHAT HAPPENED

- Sophomore forward Jake Grove broke the scoreless tie in the 49th minute with his second goal of the season. Freshman midfielder Abdul Kawa was credited with his first collegiate assist.
THE WRAP-UP
