William Rassat worked his way to the consolation semifinals of the ITA Regionals in Indianapolis, Ind.

Unfortunately for Rassat, he won't get a chance to win two more singles matches in the A draw of the tournament. The remainder of the regionals have been canceled due to potential inclement weather set for Monday (Sept. 19).

WHAT HAPPENED
- Rassat, the reigning Great Midwest Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year, lost his first match in the A draw, then went win by injury, bye, 7-5, 6-1 win, and another win by injury. He was slated to play on Monday at 11:30 a.m. in the consolation semis before the cancelation.
- Sophomore Fabian Bussard went 3-1 in the C draw bracket. He won 6-3, 6-4; 3-6, 6-3 (10-4) and 6-7, 7-5 (10-8) before losing in the semifinals.
- Also in the C draw, freshman Reid Opel went 2-2, sophomore Omar Prince was 1-1, and freshman Gabriel Seminario was 0-2.
- Freshman Tomas Paskauskas was 0-2 in the A bracket, and freshman Benedikt Weinboerner was 0-2 in the B bracket.
- In doubles, each of AU's teams – Rassat/Paskauskas in the A bracket, Prince/Bussard in the B bracket and Opel/Weinboerner in the C bracket.
