On Saturday (Sept. 10) night at Ferguson Field, Ashland University's men's soccer team lost a 2-0 decision to Great Midwest Athletic Conference rival Findlay.
The Eagles are 1-3-1 overall and 0-2 in the Great Midwest, and the Oilers move to 4-1, 2-0.
WHAT HAPPENED
- The Oilers went up 1-0 in the 16th minute when Nick McCracken scored from the left flank on a feed from Ryan Dickinson. Findlay increased its lead to 2-0 in the 20th minute when Christian Palushaj scored on an assist from David Hug.
THE WRAP-UP
- Findlay had a slim 8-7 advantage in shots taken, and doubled up the Eagles in corner kicks, 6-3.

Ashland's men are back in action on Thursday (Sept. 15) at 3 p.m. at Tiffin (2-1-1, 1-0-1).
