The Eagles are 24-13 overall and 15-7 in the league, and have won 15 of their last 20 games overall. The Panthers are 14-24, 7-15.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Ashland scored in six of nine innings in Saturday's opener, including hanging an eight-spot up in the top of the eighth.
- Leading the Eagles' 23-hit attack was nearly the entire lineup. Senior catcher/left fielder Seth Schroeder was 4-for-6 with a double, three runs scored and two RBIs; senior designated hitter Tim Zeller went 4-for-5 with an RBI; senior first baseman Micah Allen was 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, three RBIs, senior right fielder Dillan Smith went 3-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored, two RBIs; and sophomore third baseman Devin Hukill finished 3-for-4 with an RBI.
- Junior right-hander Josh Meyer (4-2) continued his strong outings of late, allowing six hits, two runs and two walks and striking out four in seven innings.
- Game 2 saw the Panthers score in each of the first five innings en route to victory in the seven-inning contest.
- Senior righty Jacob Harsany (5-3) took the loss after yielding four hits, six runs (four earned) and three walks and striking out three in 2 2/3 frames.
