On Friday (April 22) night at Tiffin, Ashland University's women's lacrosse team lost a 13-10 decision in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference contest.
The Eagles are 6-8 overall and 5-3 in the conference, and the Dragons are 2-11, 2-4.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Ashland and Tiffin were tied at 3 before the Dragons scored the game's next four goals. Trailing 10-4, the Eagles had a 4-0 run of their own to cut the deficit to two goals, but could get no closer the rest of the way.
- Once again, junior midfielder Cassady Becker, the reigning Great Midwest women's lacrosse Player of the Week, had a hat trick and added an assist for AU, while junior midfielder Natalie Sonntag added a goal and an assist.
- Sophomore goalie Jillian Rekulak made 10 saves.

Ashland will return to Ferguson Field on Sunday (April 24) at noon against Findlay (7-6, 6-1).
