Women’s Lacrosse Keeps Momentum Going, Wins At Ursuline

The recent roll for Ashland University's women's lacrosse team continued on Saturday (April 16) morning, as the Eagles won at Ursuline by a 17-8 count.
 
Ashland earned its sixth victory in the last eight games, and is 6-7 overall and 5-2 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, while the Arrows are 0-9, 0-6.
 
WHAT HAPPENED
  • Junior midfielder Cassady Becker continued her recent scoring streak on Saturday, recording five goals and two assists for seven points. Over the last four games, Becker has 17 goals and eight assists for 25 points.
  • Another junior midfielder, Natalie Sonntag, added four goals and an assist for five points, while sophomore goalie Jillian Rekulak made five saves in the victory.
  • Ashland had a decided 39-19 advantage in shots taken, and forced 19 Arrow turnovers.
 
UP NEXT
Ashland will stay in the Great Midwest play on Friday (April 22) at 6 p.m. at Tiffin.
