On Wednesday (March 30) at Brookside Park, Ashland University's softball team lost both ends of a Great Midwest Athletic Conference doubleheader to Ohio Dominican, 6-2 and 11-0.

The Eagles are 6-11 overall and 0-4 in the league, while the Panthers are 15-13, 5-1.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Game 1 saw Ohio Dominican put up two-run innings in the top of the first and fourth for the final margin of victory.
- Of the Eagles' 10 hits, sophomore shortstop Jordyn Severns had three (3-for-4), and junior right fielder Lauren McMillin had two (2-for-4). Junior right-hander Josie Duncan (5-8) allowed 11 hits, six runs and three walks and struck out five in seven innings.
- In the nightcap, the Panthers scored all of their runs with crooked numbers in the first (two), third (three), fifth (two) and seventh (four) innings.
- Senior righty Hannah Fricke (1-3) went the distance, yielding 13 hits, 11 runs and nine walks and striking out three.
