Eagle Men’s Tennis Loses 4-3 At Fairmont State

On Sunday (Feb. 20) in West Virginia, Ashland University's men's tennis team lost a 4-3 decision at Fairmont State.
 
WHAT HAPPENED
  • The Eagles split the six singles matches, with the three wins coming from senior Stuart Brdicka at No. 1 (6-2, 4-6, 6-4), senior Jordan Phelps at No. 3 (7-6 (5), 5-7, 6-4), and freshman Fabian Bussard at No. 5 (6-4, 4-6, 6-4).
  • Ashland's lone doubles victory came from the No. 3 team of freshman William Rassat and Bussard, 6-3.
 
UP NEXT
Ashland's men (2-3) will continue non-conference play on Feb. 27 at 3 p.m. at Wayne State.
