Finishing play at the Tampa Classic on Saturday (Sept. 4), Ashland University's volleyball team lost a pair of matches, falling to No. RV Augustana 3-1 (20-25, 26-24, 25-16, 25-15), then the No. 5-ranked host Spartans, 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-16).

WHAT HAPPENED AGAINST AUGUSTANA
- Versus the Vikings, the AU offense was paced by senior outside hitter Erin Krupar, who had a team-high 16 kills, and freshman outside hitter Sage Kissman, who added 10. Senior setter Zoey Peck set up 28 kills.
- Defensively, junior defensive specialist Stephanie Smith led the Eagles in digs with 11.

- Krupar had a team-high eight kills, Peck collected 19 assists, and Smith ended with a team-high 12 digs.
