Playing for the first time at Ferguson Field in the 2021 fall season on Friday (Sept. 10) night, Ashland University's women's soccer team lost a 3-0 decision to former conference rival Ferris State.

The Eagles are 1-1-1, and the No. RV Bulldogs are 2-1.

WHAT HAPPENED
- In the 32nd minute, Ferris State's Pia Nagel scored on an assist from Maddie Dickens. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 lead into halftime when, on a rebound off the crossbar, Abigail Gilmore scored in the 44th minute.
- Ferris State rounded out the game's scoring in the 58th minute, as Isabella Zamborini found the back of the net, on assists from Dickens and Jessie Bandyk.
- The Eagles were out-shot 14-8. Freshman goalkeeper Maddie Dolenga (0-1-1) allowed all three tallies and made four saves in 62-plus minutes of play.
