The Ashland University volleyball team swept visiting Purdue Northwest on Saturday (March 13) afternoon at Kates Gymnasium, 25-18, 25-20, 25-18.
The second set of the match was the closest the Pride (0-6, 0-6 GLIAC) came to taking one off the Eagles (6-2, 6-2 GLIAC) this weekend. Ashland hit .290 in the match and held the visitors to a .177 hitting percentage.
The Eagles were remarkably consistent throughout the match, finishing with 16 kills and just four hitting errors in all three sets.

Erin Krupar and senior
Brooke Peiffer were dominant forces at the pins with Krupar lining up 19 kills (.366) and Peiffer adding 15 (.433) as junior setter
Zoey Peck consistently hit her targets for scores.
Peck finished with 37 assists and 14 digs. Freshman libero
Katie Thompson led the back row with 18 digs and Peiffer finished with a double-double, adding 10 digs to her total.
Junior
Heidi Fausze chipped in seven kills and senior
Courtney Rosebrook added five.
Kenzie Duggan and Erica Brohm led the Pride with eight kills each.
The Eagles are on the road next week when they travel to Grand Valley State for a two-match set on Friday and Saturday (March 19-20).
