Following a modest two-match losing streak, Ashland University's volleyball team ended the week with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-22) win at Malone on Saturday (Oct. 9) afternoon.

The Eagles maintain their lead in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference's South Division at 9-9 overall and 8-1 in the league, while the Pioneers are 6-12, 2-7.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Offensively, AU hit to the tune of a .268 percentage. Freshman outside hitter Sage Kissman recorded a team-high 14 kills and a .273 percentage, and senior outside hitter Erin Krupar posted 11 kills and a .320 percentage.
- Senior setter Zoey Peck had 30 assists on offense and 10 digs on defense.
- Senior libero Sophie Dahn led the Eagle back line with 18 digs, and Krupar added 10 digs.
- Malone was kept to a hitting percentage of .116.
