Playing the last of 11 consecutive matches away from home, Ashland University's volleyball team swept Tiffin on Friday (Oct. 29) night, 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-18).

The Eagles return home at 12-12 overall and continuing to lead the Great Midwest Athletic Conference's South Division at 9-3. The Dragons are 11-15, 5-7.

Ashland's 3-0 decision on Friday night was its eighth of the season, and seventh within the Great Midwest.

WHAT HAPPENED
- There were some impressive individual numbers for AU, which ended the match with a .286 team hitting percentage as a team. Three Eagles finished with double-digit kills and notable hitting percentages – senior outside hitter Erin Krupar (17 kills, .342), freshman right-side hitter GraceAnn Hartman (14 kills, .467), and senior outside hitter Heidi Fausze (12 kills, .225).
- Senior setter Zoey Peck turned in yet another key all-around performance, going for 43 assists and 22 digs.
- Peck was one of four Eagles with double-digit digs in the victory – sophomore libero Katie Thompson (27), Peck, junior defensive specialist Stephanie Smith (13) and Krupar (11) – as Ashland kept the Dragons to a team hitting percentage of .119.

UP NEXT
For the first time since Sept. 28, the Eagles will play on the Sherrill Hudson Court at Kates Gymnasium, taking on Central State on Saturday (Oct. 30) at 5:30 p.m. in a non-conference match.
