Ashland University's volleyball team concluded the Midwest Region Crossover in Hammond, Ind., on Saturday (Oct. 16) afternoon with a 3-0 (27-25, 25-19, 25-23) loss to Rockhurst.

WHAT HAPPENED
- A match that had 16 tie scores and five lead changes saw sophomore libero Katie Thompson end with 25 digs to lead a defensive charge which kept Rockhurst to a hitting percentage of .188.
- Senior outside hitter Erin Krupar had 16 kills to pace the offense, while senior setter Zoey Peck added 34 assists and 10 digs - leaving Peck as a new member of the AU volleyball program's 1,000-kills club (1,007).
- Junior defensive specialist Stephanie Smith added 13 digs.
