Thanks to a 3-0 (25-10, 25-22, 25-21) win on Friday (Oct. 1) night at Kentucky Wesleyan, the Eagles have now won six matches in a row, and improve to 7-7 overall and 6-0 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

Ashland continues to pace the Great Midwest South Division (leading second-place Ohio Dominican by two matches), and in six conference contests, has lost just two sets. The Panthers are 2-12, 0-6.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Ashland's offense continues to be efficient, hitting .265 on Friday night and hitting at least .222 for a sixth consecutive outing.
- Senior outside hitter Erin Krupar had a team-high 12 kills and hit .333, while senior setter Zoey Peck had 30 assists and a dozen digs. Senior libero Sophie Dahn recorded a match-high 21 digs, and junior defensive specialist Stephanie Smith chipped in with 13 digs.
- A pair of freshmen, middle blocker Madison McCloskey and right-side hitter GraceAnn Hartman, each ended with nine kills, while McCloskey hit .412.
- In all six matches during the win streak, Ashland has kept opponents to a hitting percentage of .186 or less. On Friday night, the Panthers hit just .087.
