Ashland University's men's tennis team lost its first match of the season on Sunday (Feb. 9) at Edinboro, 6-1.
The Eagles only won one doubles and one singles match. In doubles play, sophomore Tche Kun Teng and freshman Hung Huynh tallied a 6-2 result at No. 2 doubles.
Senior Priyank Soni was the lone Eagle to win a singles match. Soni won in straight sets at No. 2, 6-4, 6-1.
Ashland will play next on Saturday (Feb. 15) at Hillsdale at 2 p.m.
