2012: Bernthisel was an honorable mention All-GLIAC honoree...she was 14th in the conference in hitting percentage and 22nd in kills per set (2.45)...hit .450 or better three times, including a season-high .476 at home against Michigan Tech...recorded six blocks against McKendree, which is one shy of her career high...reached her career high of 19 kills against Indianapolis at the GLVC-GLIAC Crossover, helping the Eagles knock off the ninth-ranked Greyhounds, 3-2...came up with 16 kills in Ashland's win over Northwood in the NCAA regional tournament...had four matches of 15 or more kills...posted a season-high three service aces against Dominican at the Lock Haven Tournament.

2011: Bernthisel was ninth in the GLIAC in hitting percentage...the sophomore was the team leader in blocks, solo blocks and blocks per set (0.52)...Bernthisel was fourth on the team in kills...Bernthisel had a season-high 17 kills against Northwood on Oct. 22 and recorded 13 kills against Bellarmine on Oct. 15 at the GLIAC/GLVC Challenge...she recorded a season-high six blocks three times - against Bellarmine on Oct. 15, at Northwood on Oct. 22 and at Wayne State on Oct. 29...Bernthisel reached her season high of 10 digs against Wayne State at Kates Gymnasium on Sept. 9.

2010: Bernthisel established herself as a steady member of the AU lineup in her freshman season… she was one of just two players to play in every set (107) of the season… the Eagles’ right-side player, Bernthisel led the Eagles with 76 total blocks, including 24 solo blocks… she had a career-high seven blocks (six assisted, one solo) on Sept. 24 against Ohio Dominican… Bernthisel had 97 kills for the season, finishing fifth on the team… she also contributed 72 digs…she was third on the team with 24 service aces.

HIGH SCHOOL: Bernthisel played high school volleyball at Otsego High School... she earned four letters in volleyball and four in basketball... in her junior year Bernthisel was named first team all-league and all-county, as well as second team all-district... she was a member of National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Bernthisel is the daughter of Scott and Jill Bernthisel... she is a pre-optometry major...Bernthisel was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team (3.50 GPA or higher) in 2011-12 and was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team in 2012-13.
