2010: Martin was AU’s leader on the back line for the third consecutive season in her junior year… she will enter her senior season just 13 digs out of third place on Ashland’s all-time digs list with 1,342 in her career… she was an All-GLIAC honorable mention choice as a junior… the libero finished the year with 467 digs to lead the Eagles… she was fourth in the conference with 4.36 digs per set... she was one of just two Eagles to play in all 107 sets… Martin also finished the year with 18 aces… Martin had at least 22 digs in six of her last seven matches of the season… she recorded a season-high 28 digs against Hillsdale on Oct. 30… she also had 27 digs twice… she reached double-digit dig totals in 25 of 30 matches on the season… Martin also added 27 assists.

2009: In her second season with the Eagles, Martin gained valuable experience as the libero… she led the team in digs (487) and aces (41)… she was fourth in assists with 17 and was on the court for 115 sets.

2008:  Martin established herself as the go-to libero for the Eagles during her freshman season… she finished the year as the team leader in digs with 388… she was seventh in the GLIAC with 3.77 digs per set… she recorded her first of 21 double-digit dig totals in the second match of the season against Saint Leo on Aug. 29… Martin also had four matches of 20-plus digs, including her season-high of 24 against Ferris State on Oct. 10… her play as a freshman earned her honorable mention All-GLIAC laurels.

HIGH SCHOOL: Martin was a four-year letter winner in both volleyball and track and field at Independence… the three-time first team Chagrin Valley Conference selection was also named as a first team all-district selection in 2006-07… Martin was also a two-time regional finalist in track and field.

PERSONAL: The daughter of Raymond and Marian Martin, she is an athletic training major.
