2012: As a junior, Plescia was 6-7-1 and had four shutouts..started 14 times...recorded a season-high 10 saves against Gannon...helped the Eagles climb back into contention for a GLIAC playoff spot with consecutive shutouts late in the season against Northern Michigan and Lake Erie...will end her career as one of the busiest keepers in school history.
2011: Plescia had one of the most impressive seasons in school history...in what could be termed a breakout season, she was second in the GLIAC in save percentage (.846), tied for second in saves (110), third in saves per game (5.24 and shutouts (7) and fourth in goals against average (0.97)...her 110 saves ties her for the second highest single-season mark in school history and her seven shutouts ties her for fourth in AU history...her goals against average was the ninth best single-season figure in school history...Plescia made a season-high 13 saves in the GLIAC championship game against Grand Valley State on Nov. 6...at one point, she had a 412-minute scoreless streak.
2010: The goalkeeper appeared in seven games and made three starts between the posts… for the season, Plescia had a 1.49 goals against average and stopped 29 shots… she was 1-2-0 as the goalkeeper… she made her first career appearance on Sept. 10 at Tiffin, stopping two shots and allowing no goals… Plescia made her first career start against Urbana on Oct. 24 and earned a 2-1 win… she needed to make just two saves and played all 90 minutes… in her next start against Tiffin, Plescia made 17 saves in a 2-1 double-overtime loss to the Dragons… that total was just one save shy of a school record.
High School: Plescia was a four-year letterwinner in both soccer and track and field at Padua Franciscan High School… in soccer, she was named the field MVP twice and was a member of the Fab Five, a coaches award…Plescia was named All-Greater Cleveland Honorable mention twice and was a second-team all-conference performer twice… in track, she was a regional qualifier and an all-conference first team selection…she shares the school record in the high jump at 5-4.
Personal: Plescia is the daughter of Judi and Ken Plescia… she was born on May 19, 1992… the keeper is a marketing and graphic design major.
