2012: Richards was the lone AU player to receive GLIAC postseason honors in 2012, she was an honorable mention all-conference choice...led AU in goals and points...appeared in all 18 games and had 16 starts.

High School: Richards holds the Mercer County record for career goals (42)...she holds Hickory records for goals in a game and a career...with Richards in the lineup Hickory was 64-9-2 and won two regional championships...in 2011 Hickory was 17-0...Richards was a two-time all-state selection and was named the District 10 Region 2 player of the year...Richards lettered four times in soccer and twice in track and field...Richards ran on the 3200 relay that was eighth at the state championship meet.

Personal: The sophomore is the daughter of Bill and Kian Richards...she was born Nov. 16, 1993.
