At Ashland

2011-12 - In her first season at AU, Daugherty put together the greatest season in school history and one of the most exceptional campaigns in NCAA Division II women's basketball history...named a first team All-American by Daktronics and WBCA...was the WBCA national player of the year and the 2011-12 Honda Sports Award NCAA Division II Female Athlete of the Year...was the GLIAC player of the year, the GLIAC Tournament's Outstanding Player, the Midwest Region player of the year, the NCAA Division II Midwest Region Tournament Player of the Year and was named to the all-tournament team at the Elite Eight...led all of Division II in double-doubles (27) and rebounding (14.1 ppg.)...set NCAA Division II tournament records for rebounds (95) and field goals (56) and was one point shy of the tournament record for points (she scored 148)...named the GLIAC South Division player of the week three times...led AU in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots and steals...posted the first and only triple-double in school history when she had 12 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists at Kates Gymnasium against Findlay (Jan. 5, 2012)...had three, 30-point game, including a 31-point explosion against Bentley at the Elite Eight (Mar. 21, 2012)...set an AU single-game rebound record when she pulled down 24 missed shots at  Lake Erie (Feb. 25, 2012)....had three games of 22 or more rebounds...blocked a season-high four shots against Northern Michigan (Feb. 29, 2012)...had 11 games where she was perfect at the free throw line, going 3-for-3 or better...rattled home a season-high five triples at home against Tiffin (Feb. 4, 2012)...set school single season records for points (744), points per game (21.3), rebounds (492) rebounds per game, double-doubles, field goals (284) and field goal attempts (565).

In High School/At Dayton

At River View High School, Daugherty was a two-time first team All-Ohio selection...in 2009 she was the state's co-player of the year...played on teams that won state championships in 2006 and 2007 and played on a team that was the state runner-up in 2009...during her days at River View the Black Bears were 95-7, including 55-1 in conference action...team won four consecutive conference titles with Daugherty in the lineup...Daugherty is River View's second all-time leading scorer with 1,740 points...is the program's second all-time leading rebounder with 847 boards...is the program's career leader in free throw percentage (83.0) and holds school records for the highest single-season free throw percentage (92.0) and consecutive made free throws (52)...in addition to basketball, Daugherty was named first team all-state in volleyball...played two years at Dayton where she scored 389 points and averaged 6.0 ppg., and 16.0 minutes per game...was named to the All-Atlantic 10 Rookie Team...as a sophomore was cited as a CoSIDA Second Team Academic All-District pick...In 2010-11, averaged 6.0 ppg., 2.9 rpg., and 17.5 mpg...played in 33 games and started six her sophomore season.

Off the Court

Daugherty is the daughter of Bill and Caroline Daugherty...Bill Daugherty played basketball at Wilmington College (1982-86) and is a member of the school's hall of fame...Caroline Daugherty played basketball at Ohio University and is a member of OU's hall of fame and was a first team Academic All-American...sister, Kristin, was a four-time All-Atlantic 10 Conference selection and is fifth at Dayton in career points...is a middle grades education major.
