2011-12 - Gerbec received a medical redshirt.

2010-11 - Gerbec had a record-setting season as she established what at the time was the school single-season records for rebounds (311) and rebounds per game (10.7)...the forward pulled down 21 rebounds against Central State (Nov. 16, 2010) and that was a school record until last season...was named first team All-GLIAC and first team All-Midwest Region and was named to the WBCA NCAA Division II All-America Team as an honorable mention choice...named to the GLIAC All-Defensive Team...averaged a double-double with 15.9 ppg., and 10.7 rpg...led the GLIAC in rebounding...was 15th in the country in rebounds per game and was 25th in free throw percentage...scored 20 or more points in a game six times and tallied a career-high 30 points against Findlay (Mar. 2, 2011) in the first round of the GLIAC playoffs...had 15 or more boards in a game six times...had 19 rebounds against Lake Superior State (Jan. 22, 2011) and 18 against Lake Erie (Dec. 11, 2010)...tied her career high in blocks (four) at Michigan Tech (Mar. 6, 2011)...named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team.

2009-10 - Gerbec was one of the top newcomers in the GLIAC…was 11th in the conference in rebounding (5.5) and second in offensive rebounds (68)…the freshman was fifth in the conference in field goal percentage (.515)…Gerbec was second on the team in scoring (10.4 ppg.) and was AU’s leading rebounder (5.5 rpg.)…was second on the team in rejections (18)…Gerbec produced a pair of 20-point efforts. She had a season-high 24 points at Findlay (Jan. 23, 2010) and 21 points at Northern Michigan (Mar. 2, 2010)…Gerbec scored 15 or more points five times…the freshman had two double-digit rebound games….pulled down 14 missed shots at Findlay (Jan. 23, 2010), which gave her the first double-double of her career…also had a twin-killing against Saginaw Valley State (Feb. 11, 2010), when she had 15 points and 13 boards…blocked four shots at Kates Gymnasium against Hillsdale (Feb. 27, 2010)…health was the only thing that really slowed her down, she missed five games with an ankle injury…when Gerbec was at full strength, she stayed on the floor.  She played 35 minutes at Northern Michigan (Mar. 2, 2010) and 34 at home against Tiffin (Jan. 2, 2010)…averaged 23.6 minutes per game…started 11 games.           

 In High School

Gerbec earned six letters in high school, three in basketball and three in cross country….named first team all-conference twice and third team all-district.

The forward is the the daughter of Jim and Aida Gerbec…born on Apr. 18, 1990...is a biology/chemistry major.
