At Ashland: Hartmann brings an exceptional glove to first base, the coaching staff has talked about needing to utilize her defensive skills more in 2012.  The junior continues to improve offensively, a year ago she made tremendous gains in confidence and plate discipline.

High School: Hartmann was a four-year starter at Wooster High School.  As a senior, she was first team All-Ohio Cardinal Conference and was honorable mention all-district.  Hartmann was a team captain. In 2008, Wooster won an OCC championship.

Personal: The sophomore is the daughter of Ray and Kathy Hartmann.  She is a business major.
