Biography

2011: Horvat played in four contests during the season, including one GLIAC conference game… provided strength to the defense ranks as a junior… the Exercise Science major was named to the 2011-12 Men’s Soccer All-Academic team.

2010: Hrovat was limited to playing just one game last season due to injury.

 High School: Hrovat, a Medina native, played his prep career at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron… he earned a pair of varsity letters under coach John Stavros… Hrovat was a two-year varsity starter for a team that earned three district championships.

 Personal: Chris is the son of Lenny and Gail Hrovat… he was born Jan. 13, 1991 and has one sister… Chris has an entrepreneurship major with an exercise science minor.

 Coach Freeman’s Comment: “Chris has a soft touch and reads the game well. He’s a solid defender that will be looked at strongly for the center back position.”
