2010: Iden played in 20 games and made seven starts in his junior season… he finished the year with four goals, good for fourth on the team… he opened his scoring on the season with two goals against Mount Vernon on Sept. 28 in a 6-0 AU win… in his next game against Northwood, Iden’s goal proved to be the game-winner in a 2-1 victory… he also scored in the regular season finale against Findlay, a 6-0 win… Iden took 29 shots on the season with 13 coming on frame.
2009: Iden became a key piece of the Eagles’ attack, finishing third on the team with five goals on the season and earning All-GLIAC second team honors… he scored in three straight games from Oct. 30 to Nov. 7 and added an assist in a 2-0 win in the first round of the GLIAC Tournament against Findlay on Nov. 5… Iden was third on the team with 12 points.
2008: Iden played in nine games as a freshman… he scored his first collegiate goal at Findlay on Oct. 5 and notched his first career assist at Saint Joseph’s on Sept. 7… Iden finished the year with three points.
High School: Iden attended Marysville High School during his prep years, finishing his career with 30 goals and 21 assists… in his senior season he was named third team All-Ohio, All-Central District first team, Ohio Capital Conference first team and All-East Region… he earned three letters in soccer and two in basketball in high school.
Personal: Andrew is the son of Damon and Wendy and has one sister… he was born Nov. 25, 1989.
Coach Freeman’s Comment: “Andrew is a good finisher that may have scored more last season if he did not pick up injuries. He is the most experienced forward coming back. Andrew is a level-headed player that does not get rattled. He is an excellent header of the ball and leads by example. He will be looked to play up front.”
