2010-11: Berlin was a productive player as a true freshman under John Ellenwood… he played in 25 of 26 games and made 17 starts on the wing… he averaged 5.2 points and 1.9 rebounds per game… he was second on the team with 54 assists and third in 3-pointers made (20) and steals (21)… he saw a significant increase in playing time as the season progressed… Berlin played at least 25 minutes in 14 of his last 17 games played… he made his first career start at Lake Erie on Dec. 11… he scored a season-high 17 points (6-for-9) in 38 minutes at Ohio Dominican on Feb. 24… he scored in double figures in five games… Berlin knocked down four 3-pointers at Michigan Tech on Feb. 17… he set season highs of six rebounds and seven assists in an upset win over No. 22 Grand Valley State at Kates Gymnasium on Feb. 10… he had multiple steals in a game eight times, including three games with three swipes.

High School: Berlin was a four-year letterman in basketball at Wilmington High School… named first team all-conference and all-district… named the conference co-player of the year…claimed all-city (Cincinnati area) all-star laurels… also secured all-state honors… as a junior averaged 15.0 ppg., 5.0 rpg., 4.0 apg., and 3.0 spg… also lettered four times in golf... was a four-time first team all-conference selection in golf and was the conference’s player of the year twice… played on a basketball team that won a district crown and was the conference co-champion… with Berlin in the lineup, the Wilmington golf team won four consecutive league titles and one sectional championship.

Personal: The freshman is the son of Donna and Tony Berlin… is a business management/sports management major.
