2013-14: Thomas once again was one of the Eagles' top performers...started and played in 24 games as a redshirt junior...averaged 8.9 points, 2.8 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game...his 67 assists led the Eagles...among his nine 10-plus-point games was a season-high 22-point effort at home against Seton Hill (Nov. 26)...dished out a season-high eight assists at home against Tiffin (Feb. 1)...earned a spot on the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball All-Academic Team.
2012-13: Thomas continued his dominance as one of the best on-the-ball defenders in the GLIAC during his sophomore season...earned All-GLIAC Defensive Team honors, as he led AU with 29 steals and helped the Eagles force 11.8 turnovers per game...played in all 25 games, making 20 starts and averaged 29.1 minutes per game...continued developing into a consistent threat on offense, scoring in double figures seven times and finished fifth on the team, scoring 7.4 ppg....finished second on the team with 54 assists...had his best offensive output at home against Northwood on Dec. 12, recording season highs in points (17), field goals (6), and three-pointers (3)...was the hero in AU's upset win over rival Findlay at home on Jan. 17, making a running jumper in the lane with two seconds remaining...finished that game with eight points and tied his career high with eight rebounds in 38 minutes...had four games dishing out four assists and had four steals at Findlay on Feb. 14.
2011-12: Thomas became a stalwart in the AU backcourt, playing 26 games and starting 17...reached double digits in scoring in 14 games...scored a career-high 19 points in a non-conference game against Edinboro (Dec. 30, 2011) at Kates Gymnasium....had 17 points in a home game against Ohio Dominican (Jan. 14)...gave the Eagles a guard who could rebound, had five or more rebounds four times...collected a career-high eight rebounds against Lake Superior State (Jan. 21)...had a career-high 10 assists in the GLIAC first-round playoff game at Hillsdale (Feb. 29)...Thomas had a double-double in that playoff game thanks to 11 points he scored against HC...career-high of four steals came in the season opener at Lock Haven (Nov. 14)...became more of a scorer as the season went on, had one stretch where he reached double figures in eight consecutive games...was fourth on the team in scoring and was the team leader in assists (66) and steals (25)...averaged 30.0 minutes per game, the fourth highest figure on the club...was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team (GPA of 3.00-3.49) as a business management major.
2010-11: Thomas played in the first six games of the season, making two starts, before an injury sidelined him for the balance of the season…he received a medical redshirt…Thomas, a terrific defender on the perimeter, scored 17 points in the six games…he scored a season-high seven points twice, once in the season opener against Lourdes, and again at Hillsdale on Dec. 2…Thomas registered season-highs of five rebounds and five assists at Edinboro on Nov. 28...he made his first career start at Hillsdale on Dec. 2 and was 3-for-5 from the field.
High School: His senior year, Thomas was the Greater Western Ohio Conference North Division player of the year…was named first-team all-conference, all-district and was the District 15 player of the year…selected as the Division I player of the year by the Dayton Daily News…as a senior, was a third team All-Ohio pick…earned four letters in basketball and two in soccer.
