High School: Drews prepped at Hillsdale High School and earned two-time Associated Press first team all-state honors... also was a two-time All-Lenawee County Athletic Association most valuable player... was named to the first team academic all-state team twice... led the Hornets to three conference championships and an 80-9 overall record... shot 47 percent from the field an 75 percent from the line in his career... averaged 16.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.1 steals per game in his career... also lettered in track, football and soccer at Hillsdale.
