2012-13: Mixer was sidelined with an injury and did not appear in a game.

2011-12: Mixer provided the Eagles with depth in the post...played in 23 games and his minutes per game increased in the season's latter stages...scored a career-high 12 points at Wayne State (Jan. 26), hitting 5-of-6 field goal tries...shot 65.4 percent from the floor (17-of-26)...reached his season high of four rebounds at Kates Gymnasium against Michigan Tech (Feb. 16, 2012)...against the Huskies, three of those four caroms came off the offensive glass.

High School/College: Mixer prepped at Farragut High School earning letters in basketball and football…transferred to Ashland from Roane State Community College… at Farragut, Mixer was named first team all-district and second team all-region… he averaged 10 points and eight rebounds per game at FHS.

Personal: Mixer was born May 29, 1991, and has one brother, who played basketball at Berry (Ga.) College… he is the son of Kevin and Sandy Mixer… father, Kevin, swam collegiately at Oakland University… Mixer is an integrated social studies major with the ambition of becoming a high school social studies teacher.
