2019-20: Thompson was named to the All-GLIAC second team and GLIAC All-Defensive team for the second consecutive season... ranked third on the team in scoring (12.8) and was fourth in the GLIAC in rebounding (7.3)... shot 54 percent from the field and 46 percent (15-for-33) from 3-point range... finished the season with five double-doubles... one of two players to start all 29 games... led team with 44 steals and tied for the team high with 16 blocks... scored a season-high 24 points and collected 10 boards against Le Moyne on Nov. 29... hit the 20-point mark five times and reached double figure scoring 19 times... had a 19-point, 13-rebound performance against Saginaw Valley on Jan. 25... finished the regular season with five straight games in double figures... hit all three of his 3-point tried at Michigan Tech on Jan. 4... had six double-digit rebounding games.

2018-19: Thompson enjoyed a breakout season as a redshirt-sophomore... named to the All-GLIAC second team and GLIAC All-Defensive Team... led the GLIAC in rebounding at 9.4 per game and showed tremendous improvement offensively, more than doubling his scoring output to 10.8 points per game and shooting 54 percent from the floor... led GLIAC with 11 double-doubles... corraled season-high 16 rebounds against Northern Michigan on Jan. 5... scored over 20 points twice, including a season-high 27 points (and 10 rebounds) against Lake Superior State on Nov. 29... scored in double figures 19 times and recorded double-digit rebounds 16 times... had five games of at least 14 rebounds... had 18 points and 15 boards in a win at Ferris State on Feb. 7... led team with 40 steals and was third on the team with 18 blocks... recorded a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double in the GLIAC Tournament quarterfinal on March 5.

2017-18: Thompson played and started all 30 games as a redshirt-freshman wing... Showed flashes of defensive dominance on the perimeter, often guarding opponent's top wing or guard... Gradually brought his offensive game along, averaging 5.2 points per game... Collected 5.7 rebounds per game and led team with 43 steals... Shot 46.5 percent (53-for-114) from the floor and made 15 3-pointers... Scored in double figures six times, including three times in the last five games... Scored season-high 14 points in back-to-back games against Purdue Northwest and Saginaw Valley Feb. 17 and 22, respectively... Had 11 points and six rebounds in GLIAC Tournament quarterfinal against Northern Michigan... Scored eight points and corralled season-high 15 boards in GLIAC Tournament semifinal at Ferris State on March 3... Averaged 24.9 minutes per game.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned second-highest 3-point field-goal percentage in school history...Averaged 10 points, five rebounds and three assists per contest...Won two sectional titles and a Three Rivers Athletic Conference championship...Was second-team All-TRAC and Burger King Player of the Year...Earned two varsity basketball letters.
