2014: James saw his most extensive playing time to date, playing in 41 games...Hit .250 with five doubles, three home runs and 16 RBIs...Also stole three bases.

2013: Started 16 games and hit .235.

2012: Saw action as a middle infielder...Played 31 games and started 21 times.

High School: James earned first team All-Southwestern Conference laurels in baseball and soccer during his career at Westlake. He was also first team All-Greater Cleveland in baseball. James lettered four times in soccer, three times in baseball and once in football.

Personal: James is the son of Lori and Tim James. He is an exercise science major and was named to the 2013 and 2014 GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team (GPA of 3.50 or better). Tim James played one year of baseball at Ashland.
