Biography

2012: Injuries limited Gundlach to 11 games. He was the starter at shortstop before being forced to the sidelines. 

2011: Gundlach was the starting shortstop. He played 40 games and started all of those games. He was seventh on the team in batting average and was third on the team in stolen bases (10-for-11). Gundlach was second on the team in sacrifice bunts (11). He tied for third on the team in runs (22).

2010: Gundlach appeared in 14 games as a freshman, making two starts. He was 2-for-9 on the season with a run scored and two RBI. Gundlach made his first career start on Mar. 13 against Minnesota-Duluth. He had his first career hit on Apr. 2 at Hillsdale.

High School: Gundlach was a three-year letterwinner in baseball at Sandusky Perkins High School. He was named the all-district player of the year and was named to the Buckey Scout Top 100 list. Gundlach was also named to the All-Sandusky Bay Conference first team in his final two years under coach Ray Neill.

Personal: Gundlach was born on Jan. 28, 1991. He is majoring in exercise science and coaching. His parents are Diane and Terry Gundlach.
